TESTIMONIALS
Mike and I just returned from one of the
greatest adventures of our
lives... between the white-water rafting, touching wild animals with our tour guides, zip-lining and explorng the catherdrals in San Jose, to exploring the jungle of Manuel Antonio... we were never bored and thank you for all your help in organizing such great adventure! Julio and Sergio were amazing guides in San Jose and they have a great sense of humor! They are cute too! We cannot thank you enough for the seamlessness of our getaway... your relationships with the hotels and tour groups shows a high respect for ensuring you choose the right partners to take care of your guests! We appreicate that as all your business partners were very knowledgeable and were able to provide great accommodations and tours! Thank you again! Tom and Mike, Long Beach CA Hi! It's Matt Smith from Hartford, CT. I just got back yesterday from our trip to Costa Rica and wanted to let you know what an amazing time we had. We arrived in San Jose airport around 7 PM Mon. (supposed to be at 12:30 PM but our airplane was delayed) Sergio was there to meet us and drove us to the Hotel Balmoral in downtown San Jose. We couldn't have asked for a better location in the city! Everything was within walking distance and we only took a taxi late at night returning from the clubs. I was completely amazed at the inexpensive prices of food and cigarettes. I think it was around 700 colones for a pack of Derby's! We ate at many different restaurants around the city including Asian, American, and Costa Rican soda foods. The tours were amazing as well. The guides for all of the tours were so helpful and friendly, it was a far cry from life in the US. We went to Puchos on Tues night and had a blast! We met a guy from Los Angeles who just moved there and hit it off great. Next we were off to Manuel Antonio and were overwhelmed by the beauty and location of our hotel, Casa Blanca. It was right at the top of the hill in the middle of Manuel providing us with the most spectacular view of the beach, possibly the best in town. I couldn't believe that there were fresh mangos falling from the trees by the pool, talk about paradise! I would highly recommend this hotel to any of your guests. Also if you are a dog lover the pet dog was a great friend to us during our stay. The staff was very accommodating even lending us an umbrella on one of the rainy nights. It was a little rainy the first couple of days but the last four were absolutely gorgeous. I can say that pictures of Manuel Antonio National Park don't do it justice. It is breathtaking to be playing in the surf surrounded by palm trees and the view. While in Manuel we went on the Canopy tour and had a blast! The food in Costa Rica was great. I think breakfast was my favorite, with the spiced rice and beans, fresh fruit, tortillas, etc. etc. I must say I became quite a fan of Salsa Lizano. I put it on everything, delicious. We also ate mostly at local restaurants and ordered Casados. The amount of food you get for around $3-$4 was surprising. There was only one negative aspect of our trip, American Airlines. They delayed our flight to Miami when we were on our way to Costa Rica which made us miss our connector to San Jose. On a more positive note, the trip was great and I am looking forward to returning to Costa Rica or maybe Uruguay. I am tanned and happy and full of wonderful memories. Thank you so much for a trip that was better than expected! We took lots of photos and will send some of the best so you can maybe put them on the web site.
Una
palabra......... Magnifico!!!!!!!!!!- Everything was
totally fantastic so a big Gracias to you and the
team.......
Both
Andrew and I had the time of our lives- from the hotels, to
the food, to the scenery, to the tours, to the Ticos...-
5 ESTRELLAS!!!!! -I just fear that in 5 years it will be
too overdeveloped in Manuel Antonio with all of the
construction which is a shame.
The
package you presented was wonderful and everyone who we
met was jealous- ha ha....We will tell all of our
friends about you ...and yes we want to get info on
Uruguay.
Again
thanks so much for arranging a vacation we will remember
forever.

Hi Diego,
Just a short note to let you know how much we enjoyed our adventures in Costa Rica. Although we arrived almost 12 hours late, we got right into an afternoon/evening tour. Sergio and his team were wonderful- so ready to help us enjoy our short week in CR. A highlight was getting caught on the rocks in a category 4 rapid on Rio Naranja- four others had to be taken off the raft via rescue rope!
Gracias, I wanted to tell you guys that the trip to Costa Rica was great! I arranged the 7 day package with Diego and all went smoothly. Jim and I had an adventurous time pushing our limits with the river trip and especially the canopy tour. We were lucky enough on the Highlights tour to see the Poas Volcano on a CLEAR day! I wanted to provide a little feed back that might help others enjoy the tours even more: I recommend bringing a change of clothes for the raft trip - you will be soaked and should wear clothes that dry easily because of the high humidity in Manual Antonio and wear footwear that is good for walking over rocks and on slippery surfaces. Bring a bathing suit on the canopy tour to swim. Give copies of the free Gaylife News (Circuito Playita) to guests - it has all the current gay info. including good maps and a tide table for walking to the Playita.
Sergio gave us a very good brief upon arrival. All our
tours and pickups at the hotels were exactly on time and all
included meals were very good. Costa Rica is truly a rich and
beautiful country. We really had a great time. Hi Diego...I'm in New York thinking of Costa Rica -as i have every day since I've been back! I had such a great time--without a doubt THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE!! It all worked so well -the connections, the airlines, the accommodations, the scheduled events, the free time (in which I did my San Jose bathhouse explorations) the graciousness of your staff everywhere--and the absolute beauty of Costa Rica. Sergio is a sweetheart (the night i was locked out i would have been sleeping in a tent without his help) and he is an encyclopedia of information for the traveler and especially the 'gay' visitor to C.R. What a location in the location next to the national park! The nude beach, the friendly other tour members (and their members!). It was all enormous fun -and the sightseeing outings were well chosen -I like swinging across the trees, the white watering, river boating alongside crocodiles, the active volcano. The whole experience has energized me and I feel great -positive in spirit.
I've talked up your Gay-CostaRica.com tours and both my straight and gay
friends are quite interested so expect a lot of new business. Thanks
for everything, Diego -I owe all of this to you - you are the KEY
personal in the whole business and but for you I would never have done
this! I'm so grateful -you're such a beautiful person, so likeable and
generous -bless you and lots of love -and I hope to keep in touch and
hopefully we'll do this again. Thanks again, dear friend. Costa Rica is - without question - one of the best vacations we have ever been on. Worth every one of our 14 days there. What a fabulous experience from the kind people of Costa Rica to the tremendous ecological biodiversity, available out the door of your hotel in most cases. Natural beauty and fun activities abound - it is almost as being in a surreal garden when in the tropical forest. I hope to send a number of friends your way - whomever will listen to me about our experience, complemented by your expert planning from A to Z. Sergio was also a great help and fun to work with. Hopefully I can convince a group of my friends to return with me to white water raft! If you ever need a referral, please forward them to us - I believe we can recommend this experience without reservation. I miss the smell of Costa Rican Coffee in the morning already.......Many thanks. We
can't thank you enough for the best vacation we have ever had. Everything
that has being promised to us was true from the beginning. Sergio went
our of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable and worry free. We
had so much fun specially in the canopy and the rafting tours!!! Unforgettable.
Not to mention the Kekoldi hotel at Manuel Antonio where the vegetation
is so lush it seems out of this world. This has being our first trip
to Costa Rica but it won't be the last and Diego, I wanted to drop you a line while our trip was still fresh in my mind and let you know how much we enjoyed seeing Costa Rica. Sergio was at the airport to meet us and was a big help in answering our questions and making us feel comfortable. The tours were all great, particularly the Highlights Tour. The whitewater trip was also a lot of fun... guides on all the tours were very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, the drivers of the "Tourismo" buses that took us to Puntarenos and Manual Antonio and back were very nice.
The whole trip was wonderful. We were totally taken care of. The personal service was exceptional. The Highlights Tour was incredible. Thank you for this wonderful trip. The best part was the people of Costa Rica. Everyone was prompt and courteous. We loved the people, places, food, climate, activities, tour guides. We would like to visit Costa Rica again! We loved our visit. The tours were very good. The country is very varied and beautiful. There is something for everyone. Relaxing and exciting at the same time. All arrangements were just as we requested. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and very friendly, especially Sergio, Luis, and Miguel. The people are Costa Rica's best natural resource. Our trip could not have been better. It was everything you advertised it to be. It was a great experience and very well organized and planned. Sergio is great, he did a fantastic job of making us feel welcomed and working out all the last minute details.
We made it back to California safe and sound with wonderful memories
of our trip. Thank you for all your help and for looking out for us
in Costa Rica. You have such a beautiful country, and everyone we met
was so nice and friendly. It is so wonderful that so much of the land
is being protected in reserves.
